About this tool

Construction Master-style calculators are great on a job site, but their phone apps now cost around $40 a year, and plenty of people only need to add a few feet-and-inch measurements or size one set of stairs. This site does the everyday math for free, with no app, no account and no subscription.

How it works

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to a server; the calculation tape is kept only in your browser's local storage. Results are for planning: check structural sizes and stair rules against your local building code.
